ARTISANS FOR EQUITY

The increasing quality, seriousness and reliability of emerging designers around the world has enabled curatorial retailing without endangering the artist with the moral, artistic and fiscal hazards of mass production.  The notion to create a fair-trade bespoke boutique came naturally to fashion designer Sarai Capael.  If a discerning buyer has the luxury of time, couture pieces can be tailored to the client's tastes on request, at competitive prices.  This model eliminates many levels in the supply chain, rendering artisanal luxury more attainable and certainly more individualized.  Some of our pieces are factory made; these companies are vetted to insure fair working conditions.

Many international humanitarian organizations agree that over 30 million humans are enslaved today.
Fifteen percent of the proceeds are donated to UNICEF to fight for better working conditions.
